Tech2000 Re-"When a company that did not meet earnings projections last quarter shoots up so much in a short time---you have to think something is up!!! Something other than just short term earnings outlook." Tech, some of the analysts are starting to look at factors other than the short terms earnings. They have to because Intel constantly proves the analysts wrong, and the analysts lost their crediblity and made fools of themselves. They also make comments to move a stock up or down because their companies make money on the stock movement.
