From a 50 years old tech book, right up the 20 Mule Team Borax Alley. I wonder if the FL deposit has lime secreting algae in calcium carbonates, lagoons and inland salton lakes. I suspect the sands of the playas of FL( Franklin Lake ) are LIMESTONE BASED, althought I have no clue. Has anyone ever heard? Algae based, salton influenced. I suspect all are true.
