Not knowing WHEN is the whole point to this discussion. You can NEVER know. A lot of folks were predicting an Intel crash so long ago that Intel could take a 50% haircut now and STILL be way above where it was at the time of those predictions. Think Fleckenstein. As to the market as a whole, think Greenspan's irrational exuberance at Dow 5000 points ago.
