I'm not sure what you're really asking.... the yen has been trending higher since July... are you asking about the possibility of a weaker dollar and the effects of a weaker dollar on U.S. equities as a consequence of a rising yen? If so, I'm not worried.. a weaker dollar should help U.S. exports and this can be construed as positive for the U.S. economy..... as long as the dollar is not in a free fall. This is what Greenspan is really worried about.. the weakening dollar, not inflation.... (well, I guess one kind of leads to the other)
