I have already started on the strategy...

I picked up a few more shares Friday... altogether I have bought over 20,000 shares at an average price slightly above the current stock price in this decline. I also had an order for several thousand shares on the bid at the close, but I wasn't one of the big bids at the close.

Next Friday I could put an order in for 10,000 to 15,000 shares before the close without violating my personal exposure rules. I'm sure there is at least one investor on thread who could do the same thing. I plan on doing this, provided the conditions are the same as I outlined in my post. And who knows, if I feel the risk/reward is good, I will place a larger order.

If we all do this to some degree, the sellers would have to take out 50,000 to 100,000 shares in the last 30 minutes Friday to get the price down below 4.50, let alone take out the deep pocket guys who are lurking down below that level.

It certainly makes for an interesting trade... it will force CC to make a conversion decision, and could result in a big stock price jump the following Monday, if they convert.

Also wouldn't be a bad time to buy the March call options.
