yes it makes sense. How about this idea. When you do people marks and you look at that person's post it brings you to that thread...then to read other post from your person of interest you have to back arrow to do it....would it not be easier if once you hit a person's post it kept you on him or her and you then just hit next or previous and you stay with your person. Right now when you do that it brings you instead to the next post in the thread your person was talking in which I don't think is what people really want in this situation.

Michael,

Yes it makes sense. However, it's actually not an easy thing to do, and may not actually even be possible, given current browser technology. We can track whether you've visited a particular message (one at a time) by using the browser to track the URL. However, if you view 10 at a time, it s different URL than just the single message URL.

Others have asked the same question, and it's on our list so we won't forget about it, but we haven't come up with any brilliant solutions to fool the browser...yet... :)
