The big kahuna over there is Royal Dutch Shell, isn't it? I don't think America is very much involved in East Timor. If we are, we shouldn't be. From what I know of Indonesia, I don't think the people there need much outside encouragement to kill each other. The natives of that land, by the way, are very resentful of the transplanted Taiwanese community, who are generally more prosperous than your average Jakartan, who is far more likely to work in a machete factory than own it.
