I like the idea of pulling off some profits and not giving them back. Does that money just sit in a money market fund? That doesn't seem like the best place for it, but I wouldn't have a better idea.

I've had my IRA in Schwab's 1000 Index fund since last December. Up about 15%, or so, to date. Is that too risky for your "untouchable" money?
