Over the 30+ years I've been associated with the s/c industry, we've swung from allocation to overcapacity roughly every 4 years. If that isn't cyclicity, it's sure been one helluva coincidence <g>.

Speaking of diversification, Tony, why don't you take a little tiny bit of your obscene intc profits off the table and buy a few share of Q? Since they're hovering near their 50 dma, it looks like a great short term entry point (and since you buy & hold forever, it doesn't matter where you buy in).

My motive is pure; if you own some Q, we'll have the pleasure of your company more often on this thread <g>.
