Bill, forced into extreme countermeasures that will cost Intel a huge amount of earnings(the price cuts=lost profits I do not think there is any need to worry about INTC beating Q3 estimates handily. Can the same be said for AMD???? That was a rhetorical question in case you didn't know. No matter what happens AMD will not go broke You are indeed an optimist! When was the last profitable Q for AMD? Supposedly they have been increasing share along the way. I'd hate to see their losses if they ever garner INTC's market share. It will take a while, but eventually Intel will be whittled down to size Are you serious???? I think(and hope) you forgot to put an LOL at the end of that sentence.
