Hypothetically, I wonder what the outcome would be with regards to adoption if roe v. wade was ever overturned. I'm a bit of an expert on adoption myself as it pertains to the past anyway... apparently pre-1965, when adopting a child you had an excellent chance of adopting an upper-middle class or middle class baby, the product of some popular high school girls' mistake (I say girl's mistake because even now no one seems to place the blame on anybody else).

My sense is that these days if Roe v. Wade was overturned, the wealthy segments of society would simply obtain an abortion elsewhere... fly to Europe or whatever... removing freedoms are much more difficult than if they were never there in the first place I suspect. That leaves the poor, who likely would be forced to give birth. I wonder what the adoption rate would be for these babies, if this situation did come to pass.
