hi Buzz, was on vacation first couple of weeks in August, so no real trading, except an exit from a CYLK and XICO trade from the Door County Library...During the past two weeks, have been turning things fully over to wife..She is now going to be a full-time daytrader, and I am her technical analyst...I generate her daily watch list from nightly scans and individual chart studies(still takes me about 2 hours a night) and she does the trading..Before I go to work, we have a 20 minute talk on the stocks that make the watch list and potential target areas to keep an eye on..She likes to trade just one or two stocks a day, that come from the watch list..She is very good about setting her stops immediately after entry and trailing the winners with protective stops..I need to keep my focus on my primary work that I have devoted my life too..Trading consumes the person who is dedicated to it, so much so, that it takes away effectiveness from other areas, namely my primary calling...I can't be counseling a young couple on their marriage, and be thinking about the potential break from a rectangle pattern that RAMP might be making on Tuesday.. All the best to you...Frank(stocktalk) recommended that I read a book called, "Zen and the Markets"...It is very good, even though I don't go for all the Zen stuff..EGO is one of the hardest things to control in trading...Following your disciplines has to be done or you will be destroyed.. Take care, Mark P.S. A quote from Buzz(who is a very good trader) "The reality is that trading requires hard work, a bit of luck, and a lot of patience" Add to that from Connors, "Deliberate practice!"
