I'm not saying they're bad; I'm simply noting that you seem to have more of a problem with the PRC than even Taiwan does. As you point out, Taiwan is helping fund them.

I think they will eventually evolve into a free and open society. Taiwan rejoining them now would greatly accelerate this process, as they would learn from Taiwanese ways, and probably appoint Taiwanese to high positions involving international trade.

There really is no alternative to hearing local disputes in their courts if you trade there (just as foreigners have to sue US companies in our courts). Maybe until China settles on a good judicial system, an international court of arbitration can hear disputes.
