How many Vibes where Hooked Together?
2 or 4 Vibe Trucks.
I suspect Vibrating is the only Way know to test the Structure while rig is in place.
Shaking the Ground gives Very good readings as to the structures down below(Shock Waves)With them doing Vibes I suspect the formation is alot closer than previous thought.

PS Vibes Produce very good readings in certain places as Dynamite still wins hands down in the Seismic Industry.
The Way the stocks climbed last week I suspect the sands are alot higher than previous thought.

Thanks for the Info.

Good evening LostHillsGuy.

S&P would be much better qualified to comment on this than I. I hope that he (and\or any other geologist\geophyscicist who may be lurking) will do so.

I guess\suspect (but don't know) that they are running the current "tests" to gather some critical "sonic travel time" data to help refine the seismic interpretations they have of this structure. Or, perhaps they want to get a measure of actual "interval travel times" so as to be able to fine tune their depth projection for the Temblor top.

I do not know if the current testing might be able to provide any "bright spot" indication of hydrocarbons in the deeper horizons. That's an interesting possibility. S&P ?? Others ??

I see that Rocket Red has already responded to you that he thinks that this all means the zone is coming in high. Well, I think that the Rocket might again be "a hoping and a dreaming" (as well as a hyping) !! BKP know the sedimentary sequences and thicknesses fairly well from the nearby deep abandoned well. If BKP is still drilling in chert, they have a fair ways to go yet before they hit the Temblor.

I am very surprised by your comments about the ELH liner as one of the larger participating companies confirmed late Friday that the liner had then already been landed at TD (but not cemented).

There are several pros and cons (that I don't have time to discuss) for installing a liner (i.e. casing). In this well, I personally believe that a liner would be both desirable and preferred. One would not however be absolutely necessary for testing and production.

Have a pleasant evening.

Later,
