Any predictions for this week? If the Nasdaq goes up 5%, i can see Intel go up 10%---or just touch the 100 level.
However, I will settle for 95. There appears to be lots of momentum with this stock. I can't imagine much short interest developing; instead i would expect to see continued short covering into this week.

Relatively low PE when compared to others in the sector along with having such a dominant position in the industry leads me to believe that Intel will continue to behave like an internet stock with minimal downside going into the end of the year.

Should be fun for the coming 6 months if one is a shareholder.
On second thought, it really doesn't matter how the stock does this week.

Good Luck to all

f.simons, I do not live in that area so I can not advise. They are in short supply in most places as AMD ramps up. In addition the mobos are at a premium price. I would suggest you wait until the end of September or even later when the via chipset based mobos come out. At that time the mobo price will drop by $100 and I expect that Intel will have a 650 out as well by early October forcing a meet price situation? I do not know if Intel will slash the top tier P-III-650 prices as well as that will drop right to the bottom line. I am going to wait until the mobos with via chipsets to hit the market in ~October. Fur will fly then as there will be more Athlons for sale and I expect them to be faster as well as I suspect they have a plan to stay at least 1 speed ahead of Intel for the next 1-2 years. Whether or not Intel will suffer that humiliation is another story?...makes for an interesting time.

Bill
