Art and Thread, Over the weekend I read... an unusual 4 page advertisement in the 01SEP99 edition on the WSJ. Seagate placed the ad to reiterate its core business plan and detailed financials. Included in the ad was this statement: Several years ago, we began an investment program to complement and enhance our own R&D. Our portfolio now includes some of the industry's most exciting and most promising storage-focused companies. They offer Seagate substantial opportunities in the Internet and consumer markets. Today, the value of our equity investments alone exceeds $4 billion. Any quesses as to who they are referring to here??? Ausdauer
