Howdy Susan!! I think I need to put THOSE AMAZING ANTI-MOTION SICKNESS ACUPRESSURE BRACELETS on again after reading that GNET article!! What a Great Link, and SO TRUE about GNET!! If it had more Bigs backing it it'd be Even Bigger... oh well, No One Has It All!!
That ZD Article SMELLS...like OCEAN & ELECTRIC TRAINS :o) !
The 909 Trined...
GNET -(of course, it won't be long now it's looking cheap @ 60 Something Again)
LOOK -(as in LOOKY!!! scribbled THAT Ticker Alrite esyay on the umppay ypehay side methinks, still some room on the comeback to break the high spike too... haven't even looked at it or the site, maybe this one's a demdar "Why Bother with DD Just PUSH THE BUTTON & WATCHIT REALTIME CLOSEBY THE LIFEBOATS" do ya think?)
AMZN -(threads and news are scrambling steering folks away from AMZN @ 62 in droves, on the brink of a Late Summer Internet Rally yet...Have You Seen Them In Their Starched White Shirts waving a jolly roger danger flag? HA HAHAHAHA).
re: THOSE AMAZING BRACELETS again....
They ARE b^tt-ugly; should be made of silvery mesh instead of hospital grey, but less ugly than dropping a calling card on the deck. They hurt and leave an awful dig in the tender flesh of the wrist like a Cratered Stigmata. You got to get them right between the tendons, B careful not to knock that dot on a bannister, ouch! About every quarter hour they give some reason to remember you're wearing them!
AND THEY WORK!! We were pitching on 18 foot seas from Dennis til Massachusetts on the way up and that whole first night and the next we got to the food and elevators everytime with no lines, what does that tellya? Leave 'em on while sleeping for no waking up at night feeling sick but pay the price of cold tingling hands in the morning and the gouge on the wrist (no such thing as a free lunch in stocks or in life, is there?). Wish I'd left them on for 2 days after coming ashore... Friday and Saturday IT HIT ME. My living room was rocking back and forth, my bed was swaying....couldn't be still for long, had to keep moving, felt nauseous. Next time I'll KEEP THE AMAZING BRACELETS ON for a day or two after coming back to land, as well.
Yep you're right, I could have worn them for the Blair Witch Project, it made me a lil dizzy a couple of times. But it was worth it! (acting in student films at college and scary teenage camping trips to witch and ghost sites of legend around here all came back... a deja vu! What Fun!).
Didn't get to Block Island this time (didn't have the bracelets yet, maybe a good thing) or Newport either... wanted to, but spent lots of time with that new little baby cousin instead. We'll be going to RI again for a weekend before November sometime. It sure is beautiful, and we're kinda flamboyant comparatively and don't really fit in. But who cares, it's beautiful...and come to think of it, our relatives living there Stick Out too so they don't fit in either and they'd be caring about that about as much as we did (like not... LOL)!! Ran into plenty of Local Harper Valley PTA types, had some fun with 'em.

Joanie
