Glenn - the total net income number of $1.7 million for the group is calculated by subtracting losses - so the $5053 dollars in proceeds per dollar net income figure for the group is calculated by subtracting out losses for the group. I suppose the only real way to make use of these numbers is to compare them to established companies. Unfortunately, I don't have the time to pull the numbers for a large number of companies (nor do I have the time to expand the scope of my VB program to do it automatically), but here are the numbers for two "established" companies for the sake of comparison: Ticker Insider Rev Inc Ins/Rev Ins/Inc MSFT $3,918 $19,000 $6,940 0.21 0.56 INTC $190 $28,200 $7,370 0.01 0.03 From the above, it seems that Intel insiders have to work a lot harder for their stock option proceeds - or perhaps, it is that they just have more faith in their company and are not selling.
