Mike: As you know, my respect for your due diligence and valuation skills is so high that I sometimes let fly with complements that are perhaps too enthusiastic. In no way was I suggesting on the Q thread that attempting to use the tools you use so well be ignored on the Q. Actually I was defending you in my mild way. :-) I was just trying to say that this is a very very difficult time to use them given the difficulty in defining a base and potential growth. And of course, as an ex economist, I have had it up to here with models that are elegant but useless. Common sense has much to recommend it. And fundamentals are my bag. But that is just me. Strongly recommend that you continue to work on valuation techniques for the Q as a fascinating test case - just about as hard a valuation nut to crack as I have seen in my lifetime. Cisco perhaps being a close second. Hey, when are you going to give us the benefit of your reading of the latest edition of the GG? Waiting anxiously (since the e commerce powerhouse Amazon is yet to deliver mine) Cha2
