Of course the comparison may demonstrate the difference between Camino and Via more than the difference between rdram and PC133.

Maybe, but at least it takes the Athlon/Coppermine issue out of the equation. Again, you're not going to get every possible combination of every technology with every other technology, but this gets closer to comparing the RDRAM/SDRAM technologies. And since you have to have the chipset as part of the solution regardless, it's a pretty reasonable comparison. What I mean is (since I'm not sure the above was very clear <g>), if customers only have the choice right now of Via+133 or Camino+RDRDAM, then that's what you compare.

Actually Intel may indeed give you that choice. They've mentioned that they are working on a PC133 solution and that just might be it.

In which case, you can do direct comparisons. But it won't be out until next year in case you want to do some comparisons in Q4.
