To be fair, we are ~ 1 month late. Hopefully, any speed improvement we garnered as opposed to original schedule will help to make up for this tardiness.

Believe me, here in the Land of Coppermine, we took the announcement of the delay very very personally. We actually talk in terms of having to "make up" for the original shortfall in the schedule.

I believe I might have said this before, but our particular development group has not missed a critical high profile product intro since sometime back in the 80's. We don't like being late. I guess we'd better be bearing "gifts" when we are.
