Good point jacques and greg, an increase in institutional holdings in light of the drastic decrease in share price would mean only one thing: institutions bought VLNC only because they were required to buy weighted baskets of all Russell 2000 stocks, not because they made a favorable decision regarding VLNC's chances. It is very significant that VLNC declined so much even as it had a tremendous opportunity to gain institutional sponsorship with the Russ 2000.
