My position on prosecuting acts a woman commits against her own body/womb/fetus? Yeah, my position is that there is no way to legislate those crimes all the way up to the moment of birth. I am not saying this is right all the time (although I think it usually is) , just that legally I can't see any way around it. We get back to this issue of what is harmful and what is not to a fetus. What is deliberate and what not. Alcohol is deliberate but rollerblading, driving etc? I can't think of anything offhand that occurs in nature to an individual that is also regulated as a crime in some circumstances - it just can't be. If they do ever restrict abortions etc. I predict they will legislate the procedure only vs. applying human rights to the fetus.
