STAR OFFICE may look like the blood brother of Microsoft Office at this point , but as times go by, when Microsoft continues to improve the products and add new features, the two brother will look much different , and there will be a lot of work for SUNW to do to catch up, free software did not generate the revenues for even R&D. So, either STAR will not be free later, or Star Office will continue to be free , but with a secondary quality , just like a free junk in people's computer but never be used.

Well, the 100k download is no surprise , just to satisfy people's curiosity, as to use that product seriously or not is another story !!!!!
