Are you implying a Windows 2000 launch of some kind in October? If so, isn't this bullish for Microsoft and just about everyone else in the business (well, not Sun).

No, W2000 isn't shipping in October. We're meeting the "Windows 2000 Ready" requirements that Microsoft has set forth which specify 64M (so I guess the "maybe less" part of the statement didn't come true). Customers will receive a coupon for a free upgrade in the box (NT boxes only). When the Windows 2000 disks ship and are received by the customer, they just have to install the software and away they go.
