Bill - <PB, I thought they may try to extend the .25 to 650 as a fallback, just in case.> If there was such a plan (I am not aware of one, but I suppose it could have been discussed), the need has evaporated. <From what I read the Athlon will be able to top this easily.> We shall see. That's the variable from an Intel point of view. I submit that the organization I am a part of can in no way sit on its laurels congratulating itself, and must continue to push the envelope aggressively. This is what competition is all about :-). However, I would also submit that Intel may employ the tactic of having volume in the channel. From what I can see with the 650, AMD may be hard pressed to meet the challenge on this front. But, I don't know this for sure, of course. PB
