All I've been able to do is set it up to automatically send a fixed # of share order at whatever price I double or right click on.
If you set the QCharts' default (View/Preferences/Online Trading) 'shares of stock' to 0, you can then specify in CyberX the # of shares for the trade.

It appears to always be routed simply as a CyberX-limit order.
If you select a stock from a quote sheet, this is true. If you select a stock from a Level II box, it will set the price to whichever Level II entry you clicked on and it will make the order a Selectnet Preference order to the MM or ECN you clicked on.

You imply somehow that qcharts "sets up" an order in CyberX that you can then go and modify. How is this done?
I think in your plane you double-click to place a trade from QCharts and confirm is off in CyberX while in mine I right-click to place a trade from QCharts and confirm is on in CyberX (I'm a clumsy click-ist and am alway hitting buy when I want sell, thus I confirm everything).

When you right click QCharts present a menu asking if you want to buy/buy to cover/sell/sell short. If confirm is off, it just pops up CyberX with your trade loaded and you have to hit buy/sell/short there as well. I hadn't even thought to double-click. I had always just right-clicked.

Edit: I just tried double-clicking (w/confirm off and w/confirm on) and nothing happens other than CyberX pops up w/the trade loaded. Maybe after-hours it doesn't send the trade or something.
