Observations Re: Today's MetaMarkets and OpenFund News... First, I congratulate Dave Nadig of MetaMarkets.com and his crew for coming up with the idea for OpenFund. If you've had the pleasure of reading Dave's stuff on the old MetaMarkets.com site, you will see OpenFund for what it is: a wonderful extension of their "metamarkets" philosophy. Second, having access to Negroponte, Isenberg, and Sprague is really cool. (I exchanged e-mails with Isenberg some time ago. At that time, he did not believe that Wave Systems was a "disruptive technology." Maybe Sprague and Negroponte can help change his mind. Kidding.) Third, having WAVX in the OpenFund portfolio will, IMHO, expose its potential to a whole new set of potential investors. And... it MAY... get the attention of New Economy fund managers.
