Intel methodology is to think in WC (worst case) scenarios.

I have great faith (and money invested) in the knowledge that Intel lives by worst case analysis. Of course, if you assume worst case for all elements in all speed path analyses, you end up shipping at a too-slow speed. Too much probability and statistics down that road for this discussion, though. One of the worst cases could be to just about promise 700 or better as Barrett did, and come out shy of 700. So, I think Intel will have some margin, i.e., 733 or 750 at least ready to announce. Hey, maybe they'll sandbag!
