Doug,

For the N's we should have NTPA instead of NTAP in this weeks portfolio. Friday's close for NTPA was 29 1/4 w/ 456,360 shares as average volume.

Project Portfolio...week 18

Symbol.......Friday close.......avg. daily vol. (last 30 days)

ALLP..........4................146,000

ATGI..........5................17,000

BCHE..........25 3/4............720,000

CS............17 15/16..........2,388,000

CYRK..........5 7/8............207,000

LENS..........9 7/16............188,000

MCLD..........36 7/16...........1,198,000

MMSI..........8 1/2................58,000

OMQP..........20 3/4..........621,000

POSS..........9 13/16............123,000

RNBO..........13 1/4............78,000

UBB...........18 13/16..........none given...aol sux sometimes. ~290,000

VOX...........16 11/16.............." ~138,000

WTLK..........3 7/8................." ~36,000

XICO..........8 29/32.............." ~500,000

And the new SI (which also sux sometimes) still doesn't have public portfolios but I've been informed that feature in forthcoming. When the tech-heads there finally get that together, we may be gone.
That's the problem with some tech-heads sometimes...they wanna tweak constantly even when nothing is broken or truly, in the name of practicality, needs tweaking. It's just what they do...tweak stuff for the sake of tweaking.

And, while I'm at it...Since all this internet stuff is still very new, everything out there is going to suk sometimes. Oh well.

And while I'm still at it...here's a sample (the first and only sample I'll do here) of what a brief session in the 56 chatroom can come up with. This is why we are leaning heavily toward going chatroom only. Considering the level of TA brought together there, productivity is ramped up exponentially:

abte, asmi, bfci, cath, savly/adct, crxa, juni, merx, nete, nmss > 12.25, netg, cpq, ptec>12.75, pvsw, flsh, sorc, tklc, xico, agbx, vci, egg, gnet, xlsw>36.81, clfy, cnet, dclk diig dgii ttwo ubb
Just the symbols...not the stuff involved...sorry.
IMO, XLSW looks like a monster stock. There's some technical stuff on it I haven't seen since AMZN showed up on my radar 2 Decembers ago.

And anybody with a 13, 25, 2 SMI should note that "v" on CPQ. I have never seen that before.......never.

As a last note...this is the last call for attendees to the Minneapolis seminar on 11/13/99. I have to make a decision in one week. Anyone considering attending...get an email to me by next weekend at tiric@aol.com.
All attendees get access to the chatroom. Otherwise...nada. There's a large push to go chatroom only and I agree. So this could well be the last seminar.
