Business Editors & High-Tech Writers AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 8, 1999--SI Diamond Technology, Inc. (OTC BB: SIDT) announced today that its wholly owned subsidiary, Electronic Billboard Technology, Inc. (EBT) formed a subsidiary that acquired the assets of, and assumed certain liabilities of, Sign Builders of America, Inc. (SBOA). SBOA assisted in the development and packaging of EBT's electronic billboard product, and is a profitable manufacturer of high quality signage. EBT will operate SBOA as a wholly owned subsidiary. The acquisition was financed through a combination of cash, notes and stock. The acquisition is expected to be accretive to earnings per share beginning in the fourth quarter of 1999.
