Ram, for months now GATA, the Cafe and articles from this Gambler/Kitco Inc and other pro gold web sites have bombasted listeners with messages of the collapsible state of world economies thru their unhealthy practices of gold and currencies and debt and trade and the kitchen sink. My position is one of hope that they are correct as I see a better standard of living for all after this global economy I see as a sickness, is crushed and replaced with one that is not controlled by what I see as corrupt etc. Those who current control the verticle and horizontal of the economies of the nations have the resources and power and control to make the appearances to us citizens that all is ok. I would feel much much better if Hutch already detected signals and changes in the system that he monitors that would provide notification that those in charge see a collapse in the near future, and they are preparing for an exit. So far Hutch's posts tell me that those events GATA and the like predict will not happen either because GATA is wrong, or if GATA is correct, then damage control is being done enough to prevent the gold squeezing or market collapse or credit or debt meltdown from happening. And if so, then it will be business as usual with more of the same, and ofcourse the price of gold will really drop lower, and for a long time. If I and gold bugs are lucky then soon Hutch will look into his computer and he will scream and yell the sky is a falling NOW. I can only hope. Many have said that gold bugs have been predicting a better day for gold very soon, for a long long time. Seems like the articles of past months are starting to be recycled, same story same prediction. "....in 2 weeks from today I will predict that a crash will happen in 2 weeks, and it will be the crash I predict that will happen in 2 weeks from today." Doug
