Gao; That's a tough question, I asked myself that a lot but I
think that the wish to help in itself is very worthy.

How a person does that has to be up to them. I can tell you my
priorities for what they are worth , but I can't say they should
be yours.
I sent a small donation to the Memorial Fund,

The Mt. Carmel Survivors Memorial Fund, Inc.
P.O. Box 120
Axtell, Texas 76624
-----------------------------

In my mind a memorial fund to preserve memories of them will
in time work to help make their deaths not in vain.
So my aim is that all the suffering not be in vain.

Sometimes I have to adjust the course I take as circumstances
change or my perception of how to do taht better improves
but even then the aim is the same. I don't want their suffering
and deaths to be in vain.

I have written several of the surviving relatives short notes
of condolences.

I continue to look for ways to keep the memory of them alive,
with hope that some changes in attitude and encourage the
government to make changes and add checks to police power
in such a way taht we won't have to see this type of brute
force used ; on basicly peaceful people ever again.

At this time I feel the government needs to undo some of the
damage they have done, and improve it's image to the world
not by covering up the mess, but by showing the world that
it's big enough to hold it's own agents accountable when they
abuse their power.

I have no doubt that gross abuses of power took place in this
and I will continue to do what I can to get them to admit
it , and to exact on those responsible for the abuses of
power a fair and just punishment.
--------------
I hate to say it but so far all I've seen Reno do
is let the guilty get rewarded in a way that extends
police powers a license to commit murder.
Well considering the "way" these people were
killed & the drawn out suffering those kids had
to endure; murder is soft word.

PS , I think I need to add that my conscious also had me
send money to the salvation army for the Oklahoma Bombing
victims , I don't normally talk about donations I make
but in this case I don't want anyone to get the idea my only
concern in this matter is about the Davidians.
