Some unusually active traders. . . Sicor. . SCRI . . . gapping up 25 percent PBYP . . . gapping down on very heavy short-selling AVGN gapping up NITE already bidding up . . BDE hit with about 25k on the ask right at the open. Nice little pop on ETYS. . .back up to 46 . . .nice job to those grabbing EOD Friday. LQID up a point at open Fairly sleepy market this AM. . . too much Labor Day potato salad and ribs sitting in peoples guts. Speaking of which. . . Made wife baked salmon/fresh guac/fresh salsa omelette in bed of course. . .GOOD MORNING!! . . .she wants to marry me again. . . .is that legal? Rande Is

Position traders. . .ALERT: BBY down 4 1/2 at 54 1/2. . caution: falling knife . . . looks like the buying op we've waited on . . .only cause I can find is CC coming out with better than expected earnings. . . .but BBY is the better store by a long shot. . .and has its own terrific earnings. The Barney says it is overvalued, compared to earnings expectations. . . guess what? I think they are wrong and that earnings will continue to beat expectations. . .and there are several other brokerages that agree. And I believe this will be a very high-tech Christmas. . . so BBY should beat last year. Looking to jump on this one today. Rande Is
