Bob, You seem to know more about the technology than I do. I asked lots of questions to lots of "experts". Here is the final analysis I came to: 1) Does the webramp truly allow modem sharing to enhance bandwidth? YES The way I know is by the speed of downloads or uploads. As for the "how they do it" or the technical nuances, I am clueless. 2) Does it give me excellent performance? YES The way I know that speed is good is twofold: a) Both my quote servers stay about 10 to 15 seconds ahead of CNBC "live" index bug ticker. (Although the DOW changes only every couple of seconds and the NASDAQ changes every 20 seconds). b) I have performed time delay tests with both of the quote services and with the exception of times when there is extreme internet congestion (not to be confused with fast market conditions), my quotes run virtually with the quotes as displayed on the internal network with both quote providers. c) I have performed ping tests (generally when there is overall internet congestion, and the slowdowns are always at the major internet junctions, not on my end. This problem would be there regardless of which type of line you were to use. 3) Is the redundancy an advantage? OH YES! A couple of months ago, Earthlink (Sprint) had some regional problems which would have shut me down for a couple of days. However, AT&T used different routes, and although I had to cut back a little on bandwidth usage (no downloads while watching markets), my quotes stayed accurate. SYSTEM REDUNDANCY IS A KEY IF YOU DO THIS FOR A LIVING!! Hope this helps. Sorry I couldn't address your specific technical issues. From a performance standpoint, however, I have not seen a better setup. Matt
