Ice, I did not hear about the latest on DRAM, it would not surprise me....we have had a big pickup in Asia and Europe.

Germany (9/6) manufacturing orders rose a much stronger than expected 1.2% m/m 2.2% y/y in August from an upwardly revised 2.0% m/m in July (from 1.7%). Foreign orders rose 3.3% m/m.
Eurozone (9/6) unemployment fell to 10.2% in July from 10.3% in June.
UK BRC (British retail consortium) August index rose 0.7% y/y by value, 3.7% by volume.
Japan July leading diffusion index rose to 35.7% from a revised 60 in July.
Japan bank lending falls 0.9% m/m in August
Taiwan August trade surplus narrows to US 840 mln as imports rise 19% y/y to USD 9.9 bln and exports rise 11.4% to USD 10.7 bln.
Malaysia July output rise 3.5% m/m 7.6% y/y.

France Q2 GDP rose a slightly better than expected 0.6% q/q and 2.1% y/y. See comment.

In regards to DRAM pricing, our cost for SDRAM has gone up about 300% since mid-June. Ouch. Is POS1 about $100 yet?
