Today, I received a fax notifying me that I was appointed by the U.S. Trustee to the Zenith Committee of Equity Security Holders. Upon receipt, I notified the U.S. Trustee that I declined the appointment.

I believe that I can be of more value to all shareholders by acting independently, free from LGE/Zenith imposed disclosure and committee restraints. I also believe that the committee members and professional counsels will do excellent work for all Zenith shareholders. Although I have not been privy to their work since my resignation in March, their unknown efforts are very much appreciated.

As Zenith shareholders and bondholders, my wife and I plan to speak at the bankruptcy hearings in Wilmington, DL on September 27 and 28. Similarly, all Zenith shareholders and bondholders have the right to address the bankruptcy judge on these dates. Hope many of you can join us and, also, address the court.

I have owned some of the 6.25% debentures for many years. They are sinking fund debentures, and since the early 90's, I think it was, a few had been called by random selection each year.

I believe that last call that actually took place was in 1998. I think it was for 5 debentures.

This year, they changed the cusip numbers of 5, like in preparation for a call, but then changed the cusip number back without calling any.
