I must have missed something somewhere? Which won't surprise me. But what do you mean by switching DSL via an old world circuit-switch? At least I think that is what Ken is asking about.

You don't mean DSL data traffic runs through the 5ESS switch, do you? I thought DSL data traffic didn't go through the 5ESS. I thought that was what the DSLAM was all about. To get data traffic separated from voice traffic. I don't have any idea how it works, but I thought this was the general idea.

So this, "voice over DSL," puts them back together again?
