<<I have never heard of one attacking a human>>

I haven't heard of a bobcat going after people either. But, they do like to kill those little toy dogs that people like so much, although they usually run off when the bugger starts yapping.

I can't remember exactly, but I think bob's get up to 30 lbs full grown. They are pretty cute little fellows tho.

Now a panther, (mountain lion) is dangerous. And they don't usually eat deer. Too much work for a cat the size of a german shepard. Rabbits and rodents are the preffered meal.

Coyotes aren't too dangerous, just a pest like racoons or opossums. But, I used to make good money turning in coyote pelts back in high school. Easier to trap then shoot because they are nocturnal. Biggest danger from coyotes is to sheep farmers, and dairy calves. Meat cattle will protect their young, dairy cattle are too stupid.
