Well, while I agree religious leaders are a problem with respect to gays, I think the congress and political leaders are more of a problem now. For example this Hormel appt to ambassador to Luxembourg. This man seems to be emminently qualified and yet the republican congress refuses to appoint him because he is gay. Well, how can we as a society have anti-discrimination laws on the books and allow this kind of thing to happen... its unacceptable really... the good news is their recent folly of promoting creationism in schools seems to have backfired.
