Nice. I've been told not to let taxes determine the timing of a sale, though. Murphy's Law virtually guarantees orcl will dip big time when you've held your position for 364 days <g>.

I wonder if the run up has anything to do with Oracle's entry into the front office software realm. Maybe Merlin can shed some light on this.

Their front office sales aren't large enough to impact the company yet. And that's true even if you believe the numbers are as high as Ellison says. Many don't.
