I kind of getting a feeling of where AOL is trying to do amid of all of these "free" internet access wars.. Do as IBM is doing, reach out and sign all these big service contracts to provide services and solutions to the big corporates which runs over the years.. MedScape's deal is just the beginning I think. Good move AOL!!!

Both AOL's price and volume today were pitiful, down a significant amount (a little over one standard deviation below the average daily price change for the past month) on significantly poor volume (also about 1.2 standard deviations below the month's average). I would guess this means something like buyers ignoring the stock but little heavy selling. With the single exception of the volume a week ago Friday, today's 9.5 million share volume in AOL has not been this low since May 1998, almost a year and a half ago!
Best,
