Planned stock sale - HMAR I suspect the planned sale (filing) of: 08/27/99 HVIDE ERIK J 674,350 shares for $674,350 has as much to do with the precipitous drop as the state of the company……. moneycentral.msn.com Like I said, the jury is still out and the wheel, she is uh spinning…….Ha! SargeK Note: With only a 1/16th spread, you don't have to worry about the MMs making a fortune off you. Further, it appears I am the only one who posts here that is interested in HMAR; however, somebody is damn sure interested......OVER 1/2 million shares traded today.

Judge Allows HMARQ to continue Normal Business Operations “WILMINGTON, Del., Sept 10 (Reuters) - In a Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Delaware, Hvide Marine Inc. (Nasdaq:HMAR - news) listed assets of $974.4 million and liabilities of $805.9 million.” biz.yahoo.com For the Quarter ending 6/99, HMARQ reported 15,553,041 weighted diluted shares. Stockholders equity (SE) derived from assets/liabilities noted above is $168.5 million. SE of $168.5 million divided by the number of shares outstanding indicates a BOOK VALUE of $10.83 per share. For the nabobs who think Hvide Marine is a dead duck, think again. My previous SE estimate of $150m to $200m appears to have been accurate. I placed my bets on SE and the resulting Book Value calculated “Guesstimate”. Trading was obviously curtailed by NASDAQ and with good reason. I presently have 24k shares with $12943.75 worth of stock chips (.539 per chip) in the game. SPIN THE WHEEL!!!!!!! SargeK VEGAS OSX120 GALA....
