ot- zuma rk... I agree... competition is always good to keep the dominant players from getting too staid and arrogant. Also, attempting to unseat MS in any way is a great drama that satisifies many anti-Microsoft fantasies. I suspect too that with MS in the anti-competition hotseat at the DOJ, MS will string along this supposed competition for all it's worth. Just my opinion. Jon :)

NYC Conference. I am late in saying thanks to all of the people I met as a new si member at the conference, specifically, Ron s, Ron c, bbga, p friend, r gintel, zuma, sam biller, and all of the others. It was a great gathering. I don't know how you select where and who sponsors it, but next year my vote goes to p friend in tahoe. I don't know if others have had a problem being dropped off si after the transfer over to the new site, but i had a difficult time getting it squared away.
