However, she is willing to define a whole new set of civil rights for a trait which has not yet been "proven" to be related to genetics. LOL. I guess I can assume from this that you think the current civil rights don't apply to gays. I was arguing that they do.

JLA, please, please, please stop attacking "liberal logic," as you phrase it, to try to make your points. You are undermining your own position by falling back on the very same sort of argument that you profess to deplore--knee-jerk reactions. Examine the issues and respond to the poster with respect. Michelle is an extremely intelligent person with a set of thoughts on various issues. She will consider your postings carefully if you answer them with an equal care rather than trying to dismiss her and she will answer with thought if you can consider this a forum for a serious discussion rather than an opportunity to "score off" someone.
