Bob - what has emerged from all of this is a significant increase in production (and demand of course) over the last decade or so - but it's not as if the world economy has stood still over this period - in fact there has been explosive growth throughout the world - so in relation to world GNP I wonder if gold production has gone up on a unit basis at all.
