Kerry, i live in Europe, and i have the impression that there is a lot of complacency re. Y2K. i have a broker friend in Vienna, and from what he tells me, many institutions (German ones anyway) plan to shift from equities into bonds due to Y2K. but there is no urgency or panic yet, quite on the contrary the perception that it will blow over and essentially be a non-event seems to be growing.

My take was that the average Euro doesn't give a rat's ass about Y2K. C'est la vie...
