You're all nuts thinking RHAT will drop so much. Linux has always been out in companies data centers. They just haven't been in the HQ's data centers. Now that Linux is popular, IT people are telling their bosses, "Yeah, we've been using Linux for a while." to get some kudos for their early adoption. If it isn't marketed well not many speak of it. Expect a split soon - no question about it. This think will hit $150 easily - why? Easy, rumors of SUNW buying them, rumors or IBM buying them, rumors of Linux grabbing market share away from MSFT. Expect a heavily discounted Win2K within 18 months to combat the SMB market going towards Linux instead of MSFT stuff. Just watch. It will take time, but since stock prices are based on "future" projections, this guy will go up AMZN-style. Disclosure: My child has just 6 shares of this stock in her account, so it isn't like I am looking to hype it short-term.
