My wife once had an exchange student working for her, from Sevastopol, who actually referred to the Soviet people. Most of the time, he considered himself Russian, and wanted to stay in the States.....

you could dress any "Soviet" western Style, place them in any western Capital and still guess
where they came from...<""

Thanks for reminding me! I recall when invited in the houses of Nomenklatura, they used to boast about their Uzbek maids, and Azeri butlers! gg Sovietski Narod never materialized. It was all in the head of Vladimir Ili‡ and the Co.! gg Not even "Soso" Visarionovi‡ believed in it! It was a trick for the Slavs to dominate the others. I think what the New Men had in comapany was the colour of the their passport, they same lodging they shared in Katurga, and the caliber of bullet in the back of their necks!

By the way, I wonder, why a jerk like Gorba‡ev is so much like in the West! He has been idealized as they man that brought the Communism to the end! He was as bad as the rest
of them, and plenty of blood on his hand. Did you get the wind of what happened in Sumgait in 1991??

As for the silly nudnic, he must be realted to Baron von
Stern-Ungaren! Sure you read about him in your history
books! gg
