Ok, all, I (again) bought CKFR today after the spike in volume caught my eye. Now that I read some of the responses here, not sure if all that euphoria is really warranted. I have used CKFR for YEARS, literally, - I cannot remember when I first started using them.
I first used them with my DOS version of MYM (Manage Your Money), (they also offered TaxCut) and now no longer sell MYM as retail software except to banks who, in turn, are offering CKFR's services, like Wachovia Bank, NationsBank who merged with Bank of America, and many other large banks. Not only that but a simple call to CheckFree produced software with which to do business with them on a stand-alone basis without the sanction of a specific bank. I guess, all in all, the huge spike today was the promise of many more online bill-paying customers who surf to Yahoo and didn't know about eBill-paying before ?

Confused but happy in Virginia

> It's a long story, nearly as long as this thread. Suffice it to say that like the "Exchange", Integrion was a bank consortium which thought it could do bill payment but finally figured out it couldn't, so it contracted with CKFR.

I've been a CKFR shareholder for over 2 years. I know what Integrion was . I'm sorry my sarcasm did not come through in the written word. <g>.
